About the Role
This role involves leading German language drill sessions for first-year students, complementing instructor-led classes. The program aims to help T.A.s become comfortable in a classroom setting and provide effective drill sessions.
Responsibilities
- Lead 50-minute German language drill sessions for groups of no more than 13 students.
- Meet weekly with the course instructor to discuss material and coordinate exercises.
- Organize and prepare all exercises for drill sessions.
- Present drills and maintain a vital classroom atmosphere.
- Take attendance at all drill sessions and report attendance records.
- Communicate concerns to the course instructor or the T.A. Program Director.
Requirements
- Must be an advanced language student.
- Must complete a brief training program.
- Must bring original, unexpired, authorized personal identification documents to complete the I-9 form.
