About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer II to support and optimize our enterprise data pipeline and monitoring infrastructure. You will act as a key administrator for our monitoring ecosystem, ensuring efficient data flow and providing cross-functional support to internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary administrator for Splunk, Datadog, Cribl, and Grafana
- Manage user onboarding, access controls, permissions, and group management
- Stream, route, and filter log data using Cribl
- Apply JavaScript to transform and reshape data payloads
- Write SQL and platform-specific queries to build alerts and dashboards
- Monitor data integrity
- Use Linux CLI to troubleshoot agents and manage configurations
- Partner with internal teams to onboard data sources and resolve platform issues
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering enterprise software platforms, monitoring tools, or data systems
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: Splunk, Cribl, Datadog, or Grafana
- Proficiency with Linux command line (CLI)
- SQL proficiency
- Working knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation
- Experience managing user roles, permissions (RBAC), and access policies
