About the Role
Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships, contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations, and consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment. The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, offering personalized recommendations, and making a positive impact through product sales.
Responsibilities
- Exceed sales goals by utilizing StoreForce dashboard results and seeking feedback.
- Take ownership of sales results and actively work to grow contribution to store sales.
- Deliver a world-class customer experience by connecting with customers, identifying needs, and demonstrating product benefits.
- Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
- Articulate brand values in-store and through community engagement, hosting store parties and initiatives.
- Expand product knowledge through ongoing learning and research.
- Stay up-to-date on products, ingredients, and benefits to make informed recommendations.
- Utilize Lush resources to develop effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Encourage open communication and actively listen to team members' perspectives on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
- Foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and valuing employee contributions.
- Be punctual, reliable, and present at work.
- Actively participate in teamwork, prioritize wellbeing, and stay updated on company news.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Adjust product displays based on sales to improve customer experience.
- Ensure practice of company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health/safety.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates under 18 will be employed through the Lush Youth Employment Program, in line with local regulations.
