About the Role
Performs complex administrative tasks and provides administrative support to clinicians, providers and/or managers while delivering exceptional customer service to the individuals we serve.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate agency core values in day-to-day activities.
- Ensure criteria for a high performing team member and values supporting trust, interdependencies, and teamwork are role modeled.
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
- Travel between sites to provide coverage for other support staff.
- Greet and check clients in upon arrival for appointments.
- Process intakes, scheduling, auditing, upload documents into client health records, process patient letters, and file.
- Answer and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Perform daily insurance verification of 3rd party payers, Medicaid, and complete financial reviews.
- Collect, reconcile, and post all client payments.
- Send and receive incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
- Respond to a high volume of email requests in a timely manner.
- Attend meetings onsite and offsite as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability and willingness to work nights and weekends.
Skills
- Ability to navigate computer programs, including Microsoft Office, internet search engines, and agency’s Electronic Health Record system.
- Excellent customer service skills with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent computer skills and use of office machines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
