About the Role

The Behavioral Health Field Supervisor will be responsible for the seamless onsite management of an initiative providing court and community-based, person-centered, voluntary support for individuals with unmet needs released back to the community. This position requires on-call availability to handle staff emergencies or general inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of care managers and peer navigators.
• Provide programmatic supervision and guidance to the MMU project staff.
• Oversee a team of clinical staff, including weekly individual supervision.
• Support supervised staff in their professional development, including performing weekly supervisions and completing evaluations.
• Address performance and discipline issues when necessary.
• Ensure services are delivered in alignment with program policies and Fortune’s mission.
• Manage daily operations, reviewing staff schedules for adequate coverage and providing coverage when needed.
• Provide on-call support to staff during the mobile unit’s hours of operation on a rotational basis.
• Ensure accurate data collection on key performance metrics and proper use of reporting tools.
• Collaborate with data analysts and quality assurance staff on accurate data reporting.
• Serve as the main point of contact for CHN and key stakeholders within the Brooklyn courts.
• Assist in ensuring the effective implementation of Evidence-based practices (EBP), including SBIRT and MI.
• Play a leadership role in building and strengthening working relationships between partner organizations.
• Attend and participate in all necessary MMU meetings, conferences, and trainings.
• Advocate for needed services, support with resources and internal or external referrals.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, or equivalent relevant experience and skills.
• Two or more years of program management and supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with the criminal legal system & population, housing, case management, substance use and addictive behaviors, and mental health is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with off-site supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple priorities.
• Excellent documentation and time management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office and database entry skills.
• Able to work with people from diverse backgrounds in a culturally competent manner.
• Relevant personal experience is a plus.
