About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Project Manager on behalf of our client, a global technology company that provides large-scale data solutions to leading AI companies, retailers, consumer brands, cybersecurity firms, and enterprise organizations. The company helps businesses access, structure, and use large volumes of publicly available web data for artificial intelligence, business intelligence, market research, competitive analysis, and automation. As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead complex, client-facing technology projects from initial planning through delivery and post-launch support. You will work closely with engineering, product, data, operations, and business teams while serving as a primary point of contact for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple technical projects from kickoff through successful delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, data, analytics, operations, and customer-facing functions.
- Translate client and business requirements into clear, actionable project plans.
- Track project progress, budgets, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.
- Identify potential blockers and develop practical mitigation plans.
- Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, project reviews, and delivery discussions.
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to agreed quality standards.
- Support implementation, launch, post-launch activities, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects in a technology company, SaaS business, consulting firm, professional services organization, or similar environment.
- Experience leading software, data, cloud, IT, implementation, or other technical projects.
- Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical project requirements and delivery plans.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering, product, operations, or data teams.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, reporting practices, performance metrics, risk management, and budget tracking.
- Working understanding of software development, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, data analysis, APIs, or SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or large-scale data operations.
- Experience delivering projects for enterprise customers.
- Background in client-facing consulting, professional services, implementation services, or managed services.
- Experience supporting e-commerce, retail, consumer brands, digital commerce, cybersecurity, or technology organizations.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or another relevant project management certification.
