About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will be at the heart of Five Below's energy, delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Assess customer needs and share product knowledge
- Offer product recommendations and engage in suggestive selling
- Promote store events and current promotions
- Resolve customer concerns and handle returns
- Communicate restocking needs and customer feedback to management
- Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives
- Operate cash registers
- Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve stock
- Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Ability to engage with customers courteously and professionally
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions
