About the Role

JLL is seeking a dynamic Transaction Manager to provide reliable, timely, and efficient support to our Retail team in Toronto. This role involves working with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels while requiring independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize workloads in a fast-paced environment. The position offers comprehensive support services to the brokerage team and contributes directly to JLL's transaction success and client satisfaction objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and filing of legal documentation, including mandates, confidentiality agreements, etc.
  • Calendar management and event bookings
  • Coordination of the deal administration process, including trade records, invoicing, FINTRAC, etc.
  • Maintain and update various databases, including Salesforce, Eloqua, etc.
  • Support and coordinate the production of promotional documents.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish including needs assessment, financial analysis, site selection, and lease negotiations
  • Prepare reports, proposals, contracts, letters, and documentation including offer documents and market surveys
  • Coordinate and conduct property tours with tenants while responding to offers and providing client reporting
  • Participate in client meetings and calls for market updates and provide ongoing day-to-day client support
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to prepare listing materials, photographs, signage, brochures, and online marketing content
  • Track active transactions, pitches, win-ratios, and maintain team CRM systems
  • Complete post-transaction closeout activities including trade records, documentation collection, and payment coordination

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Commercial real estate license or certification
  • Experience with retail real estate transactions
  • Knowledge of Toronto commercial real estate market
  • Experience with lease negotiations and documentation
  • Marketing and presentation software proficiency
  • Project management experience
  • Client relationship management experience
