About the Role

This remote position requires the candidate to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts. The Neuroscience portfolio focuses on improving lives for those with neurological disorders, spine conditions, and chronic pain. The Pelvic Health Operating Unit advances care for bladder and bowel control conditions through neuromodulation therapies.

Responsibilities

Represents Medtronic Pelvic Health during surgeries and implants by providing necessary equipment and products.
Demonstrates expertise in all aspects of implant, follow-up support, and troubleshooting techniques.
Maintains current knowledge about assigned products, services, and competitive products.
Proactively identifies needs and teaches caregivers and account employees in new and existing accounts.
Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to products and therapies through various educational formats.
Assists district manager and in-house training department in educating new employees.
Provides sales support during or following cases, including completing necessary documentation and executing invoices.
Places orders with customer service for pending purchase orders and product replacement.
Maintains open and effective communication with district personnel, customers, and other Medtronic employees.
Contributes to the completion of milestones for regional and/or national projects.
Understands applicable quality policy/system items.
Follows all work/quality procedures for quality system compliance and high-quality work.
Performs other related activities as assigned.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 8 years of patient care/clinical experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a minimum of 6 years of patient care/clinical experience with an Associate’s Degree.
Must have a minimum of 4 years of patient care/clinical experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Requires a valid driver's license.
Requires residing within the territory.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Candidates for roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Skills

Clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., ability to conduct a simple trial, implant and/or refill a pump).
Clinical experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stim experience.
Experience in servicing medical personnel on product use.
Experience working with a medical device or pharmaceutical company.
Clinical experience in a specialty area: urology, surgical, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, or home health care.
Ability to communicate effectively with sales and health care professionals.
Ability to coach others on use of products and clinical applications.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize under pressure.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
