About the Role
AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to manage daily operations of the leasing team at an apartment community, ensuring residents experience luxury living. This role is key in helping residents find the best place to call home through customized tours and follow-through on leads.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the leasing team.
- Ensure residents experience luxury living.
- Help residents find the best place to call home.
- Provide customized tours based on individual tastes.
- Recommend perfect floorplans.
- Outline the best new neighborhood restaurants.
- Follow through on every lead.
- Create excitement through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media.
- Provide tailored updates to prospective residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Saturday availability is required.
