About the Role

This role supports mental health programs and initiatives developed through the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium, focusing on improving the quality and accessibility of mental health care for children and adolescents across Texas. The supervisor manages day-to-day operations for programs like TCHATT and YAM, overseeing school-based staff, scheduling, and compliance to ensure effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of TCHATT school-based services.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, campus assignments, and workload distribution.
  • Adjust staffing coverage based on clinical volume and operational needs.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues.
  • Provide direct supervision to Senior Campus Behavioral Health Navigators and school-based staff.
  • Conduct performance management including hiring, training, coaching, and corrective action.
  • Monitor adherence to HIPAA, FERPA, and program-specific guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation and data entry.
  • Coordinate with school and district stakeholders to ensure service continuity.
  • Manage staff travel logistics and institutional travel authorizations.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-program collaboration and outreach events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in behavioral health, hospital operations, clinical support services, or community-based/nonprofit programs.
  • Proficiency in electronic systems including Google Suite, Trayt, Slack, Athena or Epic, and Calendly.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends, evenings, and overtime.
  • Must pass a criminal history background check.
  • Must provide resume/CV, 3 work references, and a letter of interest.

Salary/Compensations

  • $57,000+ depending on qualifications
