About the Role

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapist to cover hours at our downtown clinics. This unique role offers the opportunity to experience a variety of clinics and patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Set clear expectations for patients’ clinical progress.
  • Execute treatments as promised.
  • Provide items or documents such as Home Exercise Programs.
  • Execute a high standard of clinical excellence.
  • Maintain 5-star customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure patients receive the care and support they need.

Requirements

  • License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Master or Bachelors of PT.
  • Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
  • Routinely lift loads of 5-35 lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and shoulder to overhead.
  • Routinely carry loads of 5-10 lbs for 40-50 feet.
  • Routinely push loads of 5-150 lbs on casters, runners or pulleys.
  • Sustain a grip for 1-2 minutes of 40-50 lbs.
  • Guard a lift load routinely of 120-140 lbs.

  • $85,000 - $120,000 a year (Inclusive of incentives)
