About the Role

We are looking for a talented Creative Producer to shape the visual identity of our digital products across local and national brands. You will create best-in-class design solutions, from display and video ads to responsive web experiences, that are smart, current, relevant, and purposeful. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, Scripps creative and project management teams, as well as national and/or local businesses.
• Develop new design solutions and concepts to meet key business and user goals.
• Provide design support and solutions that meet the needs of internal client teams.
• Work closely with national businesses including creatives, marketers and business owners.
• Utilize user feedback (qualitative/quantitative) to provide insights and suggestions to optimize existing designs and inform new ones.
• Manage brand standards, updating guidelines and monitoring for brand inconsistencies.
• Support other creative needs, including brainstorming, branding, digital comps, and studies.
• Establish best practices for local small business video creative.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 1-3+ years of experience in a related field preferred.

Skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS and responsive digital design tools a plus.
• Excellent usability instincts and sense of design.
• Experience designing responsive websites preferred.
• Design experience with social, web and mobile app experience (iOS and Android) preferred.
• Ability to produce high-quality work quickly, iterating towards the best solutions.
• Exposure to interactive design (mobile, table, desktop) as well as architecture fundamentals and best practices for web and mobile.
• Self-motivated, passionate person with a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to adapt and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to develop creative concepts and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective presentation ability with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Independent thinker, with strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
