About the Role
The Technician is responsible for setting up and operating basic, small-scale audiovisual systems within a hospitality environment, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Execute events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
- Exceed internal and external customer expectations.
- Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
- Meet with guests on-site to ensure needs are met and equipment is functioning properly.
- Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
- Foster strong hotel and client relationships.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.
- Handle equipment challenges professionally and in a timely manner.
- Follow company processes, procedures, and accurate documentation.
- Utilize equipment sheets for setup and strike scheduling.
- Coordinate with staff and outside vendors for equipment.
- Drive revenue through floor up-selling techniques.
- Finalize client invoices.
- Complete order entries in Navigator.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Valid driver’s license for operating company vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
- Adhere to company appearance guidelines.
