About the Role

The Clinical Director is the senior clinical leader responsible for the quality, consistency, and development of all occupational therapy services. This role involves direct clinical responsibilities, caseload management, staff supervision, clinical programming leadership, and partnership with the Owner/Founder and Operations Manager. It is ideal for a skilled pediatric OT ready for leadership without leaving clinical work, energized by building systems and mentoring clinicians.

Responsibilities

Oversee the quality and consistency of all OT services.
Conduct regular case reviews and provide clinical consultation.
Review and co-sign evaluation reports, ensuring documentation meets standards.
Establish and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols and treatment frameworks.
Lead the implementation and refinement of MMM's clinical model, including evaluations.
Provide clinical supervision to OT and academic support providers.
Conduct or co-lead clinical onboarding for new hires.
Lead clinical team meetings and case consultation sessions.
Identify professional development needs and coordinate CEU opportunities.
Carry an active pediatric OT caseload across various settings.
Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations.
Participate in and grow the collaborative OT/PT/Speech evaluation program.
Provide infant/toddler developmental assessment and treatment.
Consult on curriculum design and clinical framework development for new programs.
Provide supportive role in developing the Collaborative Multidisciplinary Evaluation package.
Contribute to clinical content for educational social media and family resources.
Advise the Owner on clinical hiring needs, service line expansion, and best practices.
Partner with the Clinical Programs Coordinator on scheduling, productivity, and compliance.
Participate in school partner meetings requiring clinical expertise.
Advise on EHR/documentation system configuration related to clinical workflow.

Requirements

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current NYS OTR/L licensure in good standing or eligibility.
NBCOT certification (OTR).
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
Demonstrated expertise in sensory integration and neurodevelopmental treatment approaches.
Experience conducting comprehensive pediatric OT evaluations.
Prior experience providing clinical supervision or mentorship.

$90,000–$110,000/year (W-2 Full-Time)
$95–$130/hour (1099 Contract blended rate)
$80–$120/hour (1099 Clinical treatment rate)
