About the Role
Carvana is seeking Autobody Techs with at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience to join their team. This role involves performing light bodywork on vehicles in a high-tech Inspection Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform light bodywork, including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles
- Remove and install bumpers
- Perform minor plastic welding
- Conduct small area bodywork, including Bondo repair
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Willingness to sometimes work in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
