About the Role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures the seamless operation of food and beverage services, overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality. This role ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, optimizes operational efficiency, and enhances the overall dining experience, contributing to the establishment's reputation and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Manage, train, and motivate food and beverage staff to maintain high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and control costs to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and staff training.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Prepare reports on sales, labor, and inventory for management review.
  • Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities and special events to boost sales.
  • Assist in filling in for bartenders/servers during callouts or high-volume shifts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
