About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, clean, and interpret complex datasets, helping organizations make better business decisions. This role involves data collection, statistical analysis, and creating visual reports, requiring proficiency in SQL, Excel, and a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Gather raw data from primary and secondary sources, design databases, and maintain data systems.
- Filter, sort, and fix errors or anomalies in datasets to ensure high accuracy and quality.
- Use statistical techniques to spot trends, patterns, and correlations that impact company goals.
- Build clear dashboards, charts, and graphs using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Meet with business leaders and internal teams to identify needs and discuss actionable insights.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and explain complex numbers simply.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong command of database languages like SQL.
- Advanced spreadsheet capabilities in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to translate technical data findings into clear, non-technical business recommendations.
