About the Role
This internship offers a hands-on experience in the marketing department, providing exposure to industry specialists and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will execute brand experiences to drive awareness and engagement, and assist with social media tasks across various brands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute experiential marketing programs, including pop-ups, sampling events, and brand activations.
- Identify local market opportunities to drive trial and brand love through grassroots efforts, influencer partnerships, and cultural moments.
- Manage end-to-end event execution, including planning, logistics, activation, and post-event analysis.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-impact activations.
- Track and analyze event performance metrics to optimize future executions.
- Provide post-event recaps with key learnings and recommendations.
- Execute monthly content calendars for specified brands, ensuring alignment with social media plans and winery moments.
- Support Meta advertising dashboard for specified brands, focusing on optimizing CPMs, CPC, and follower growth.
- Track and analyze ad performance, adjusting budgets as needed.
- Oversee social platform engagement for specified brands, responding promptly and in alignment with brand voice.
- Manage and coordinate influencer and journalist visits.
- Support the development of consumer personas by analyzing syndicated data sources.
- Assist in identifying emerging category trends, shopper behaviors, and consumption occasions.
- Summarize findings into actionable insights to support brand learning plans, campaign development, and portfolio positioning.
- Work closely with sales teams to align activations with retail priorities and distribution partners.
- Partner with brand, digital, and PR teams to amplify events across social and media channels.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and event partners.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Masters in Marketing or a recent graduate.
- Able to work onsite at our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday.
- Can commit to a minimum of 6 months for the internship.
- Legally able to consume alcoholic beverages in the state of NY.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive team player with a go-getter attitude.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
