About the Role
In partnership with Amphastar, this role focuses on promoting products within the Endocrinology/Diabetes space. The representative is responsible for achieving sales forecasts, gaining product adoption, and establishing strong business relationships with targeted accounts and physicians to drive sales success.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships in a defined geographic territory
- Meet or exceed assigned sales volume objectives
- Develop territory call plans
- Coordinate support resources to maximize customer relationships
- Manage selling processes including forecasting, client starts, and productivity
- Maintain sales prospect lists and funnels
- Manage customer data within Salesforce CRM
- Design and implement quarterly business plans
- Attend technical and sales training programs
- Manage company expenses within budget
- Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain integrity and patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented success
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
