About the Role
This role supports key HR operational processes in Workday, focusing on resolving exceptions, managing cases, supporting mass processing, and maintaining HR data integrity to ensure workforce data accuracy and reliability for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Perform Workday transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, and effective date updates, ensuring compliance and meeting payroll deadlines.
- Review, triage, and resolve first-level Workday cases for timely and accurate management.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve discrepancies between Workday data and supporting documentation.
- Maintain data integrity within Workday, ensuring accuracy of key fields like FTE, employee type, and organizational segments.
- Identify and resolve duplicate employee records, determining appropriate actions.
- Create and maintain Supervisory Organizations and assign appropriate security roles.
- Configure delegation access for employees in accordance with business requirements.
- Handle all HR data with accuracy, accountability, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy standards.
- Support testing of HR processes and system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
- Maintain SIN and work permit data audits for compliance.
- Participate in and support data audits across the team.
- Manage and support Service Connection processes, ensuring timely resolution of requests.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on Workday transactional experience.
- Familiarity with HR case management systems is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage workloads within tight timelines.
- Detail-oriented and outcome-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proactive communicator who builds strong partnerships across HR, Technology, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams.
