About the Role
The Divisional Control Office (DCO) within the Corporate Bank (CB) supports the bank’s 3 Lines of Defense strategy by conceptualizing and overseeing the implementation of Risk & Control best practices. This position specifically supports the Cash Management Business Control Office, ensuring compliance with the global non-financial risk framework and policies, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee business control processes, ensuring adequate design, evidence, and consistent adherence to escalation protocols.
- Advise on, follow-up on, and support the resolution of audit findings and self-identified issues (SIIs) throughout the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) lifecycle.
- Support the business in preparing for and executing internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries, including process/system analysis, control gap identification, solution development, and implementation.
- Drive and support risk identification and assessment relative to risk appetite through Risk & Control Assessments, risk deep dives, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare information for governance meetings to brief senior management and support decision-making.
- Think strategically about the business and stay informed on market themes and trends.
Requirements
- Cash Management business knowledge.
- Prior exposure to second- and third-line functions (Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime, Operations, Legal, Group Audit).
- Knowledge and understanding of US and global financial sector regulation, particularly for Anti-Financial Crime matters for Payment Service Providers.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to review, synthesize, and present information.
- Team player with flexibility to work across different time zones and cultural aspects.
- Ability to interact with and influence key business and risk stakeholders at all levels.
