About the Role
Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to support The Salvation Army in Canada. Ensure solution architecture, integrations, security, and customizations align with organizational goals and operational requirements, guiding technical direction to deliver secure, scalable, and effective technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Influence the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions for scalability, security, and effectiveness.
- Guide the development and deployment of technical components, including integrations, security frameworks, and customizations.
- Provide technical direction and promote best practices to the squad.
- Design solutions that align business requirements with long-term organizational and technology objectives.
- Drive the successful implementation of Salesforce capabilities by supporting technical decision-making.
- Coordinate agile activities to ensure consistent, high-quality solution delivery.
- Ensure security, integration, and customization requirements are incorporated into solution designs and deployments.
- Support the development team in resolving complex technical challenges and maintaining platform integrity.
- Deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable Salesforce solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- A university degree in computer science or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Salesforce Certification required.
- 5-10 years of experience in Salesforce solutions, including large-scale implementations, solution and technical architecture, cloud technologies, security, data management, and application design and development within complex enterprise environments.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and configuring solutions within Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Experience Cloud.
- Advanced technical communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex architectural concepts, strategies, and recommendations to technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, cloud-based technology solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of data-driven integrations, including APIs, web services, ETL processes, batch jobs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Thorough knowledge of Salesforce data models, user interface frameworks, and process automation tools.
- Experience working with modern cloud platforms, Salesforce ISV solutions, and other Salesforce cloud technologies in complex technology environments.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach.
- Experience within the non-profit sector is considered an asset.

- $105,518.40 to $131,913.60 with a maximum of $158,288.00
