About the Role
NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital is committed to putting patients first. Our Operating Rooms are designed to accommodate larger equipment for minimally invasive procedures and create the optimal medical environment. Join our team to provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team.
- Assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of a surgical technology program accredited through ARC/STSA
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS from American Heart Association
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
