About the Role

The CRC Material Handler Associate will perform material handling operations associated with Clean and Repair part operations. They will interact with Fab Engineering, Vendors and other CRC personnel in addition to parts management systems for tracking and processing part transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor system(s) for in-coming parts from Spare Parts.
  • Manage equipment parts for transport.
  • Maintain part quality by practicing proper part handling skills.
  • Reduce downtime and stop-loss.
  • Communicate and escalation of system and part issue.
  • Utilize PDA and EMS.
  • Track, maintain and communicate on problem resolutions.
  • Practice 6S, abnormality tracking, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and +1 year of work experience in a professional environment.
  • Previous experience with parts handling and inventory control.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to be flexible in working hours.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willing to work overtime or non-scheduled days as needed.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
  • Ability to meet due dates for action items.

Skills

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trade environments preferred.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent military or work related experience desired.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Share Point.
  • Focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • High level of initiative and desire to learn.
  • Detail and task oriented.
  • Place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
