About the Role
This role supports small businesses and contributes to the Canadian economy. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment, with flexibility and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain job postings across CFIB's career site and external job boards.
- Monitor active postings and make updates as required.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for all new hires.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including orientation scheduling and system access requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Drive proactive candidate sourcing efforts through LinkedIn, job boards, networking platforms, and other talent channels.
- Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and recruitment data within Dayforce and other recruitment systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to candidate inquiries.
- Support recruitment reporting, data integrity, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, recruitment administration, HR coordination, or a related role.
- Experience coordinating onboarding activities and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a high volume of activities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, or other recruitment channels is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.
