About the Role

Join Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego & Schoharie County as a Family Support Service Group Facilitator and contribute to making a positive impact in the community. This role offers endless opportunities to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate monthly family/peer support groups including a meal or snack and an educational component.
  • Accept and track referrals for the support groups from various human service providers and individuals/families who self-refer.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all support groups and outreach.
  • Provide outreach regarding the Family Support Services support groups as approved by the Program Director.
  • Submit monthly documentation of services to the Family Peer Advocate.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with diverse populations.
  • VALID Driver's license, proof of current car registration and insurance.
  • Access to a reliable, working vehicle.

Work Type

  • Part-time
  • Monday - Friday 3-4 hours a day (18 hrs/week)
