Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling and educational play.
- Encourage children's interaction and conflict resolution.
- Guide children in developing artistic and practical capabilities through a structured curriculum.
- Organize nap and lunch/snack times, ensuring children's safety.
- Track children's progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
Requirements
- A love for children.
- Reliability and friendliness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use hands for fine motor skills, reach, talk, hear, and taste/smell.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.
Experience Level
- At least one year of experience in a licensed early childhood center (if holding a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education).
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development (or on a study plan).
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
