About the Role

You will develop AI-powered features focusing on RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, context engineering, and agentic multi-step workflows. You will play a central role in building and advancing the company's AI platform to enhance software development productivity and implement scalable, reliable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines including retriever components, embeddings, indexing, and evaluation logic.
• Integrate knowledge graphs to provide structured context to AI systems and agents.
• Implement agentic multi-step workflows using MCP clients, orchestration logic, and supporting tools.
• Develop prompting strategies, chunking concepts, and context preparation methods aligned with product requirements.
• Integrate AI models into existing company platforms and systems.
• Perform performance optimization, benchmarking, and cost optimization for RAG and agentic architectures.
• Collaborate with platform engineers on SDKs, gateway patterns, and architecture standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to best practices in context engineering.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development using Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience or strong motivation to work with RAG pipelines, retrieval systems, vector databases, or graph technologies.
• Ability to translate AI potential into user-oriented product features.
• Structured, reliable working style with high personal responsibility and focus on implementation.
• Strong interest in data-driven systems, search technologies, and context architectures.
• Team-oriented approach with clear and effective communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in German and English (C1+ level).
