About the Role
This role involves working closely with Senior Leadership teams to build organisation and people capability by shaping and implementing effective people strategies and activities. You will also support the design and delivery of People & Inclusion initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and provide pragmatic HR solutions.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Provide advice and guidance on employment relations matters and mitigate business risk.
- Support the design, delivery, and management of learning interventions, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring.
- Act as an advocate for change management, leading and supporting the business.
- Analyze business issues and translate them into people-based solutions with a commercial view.
- Promote inclusion and well-being with practical solutions.
- Develop digital skills and understanding of emerging HR trends.
Requirements
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong generalist HR background at an HR Business Partner level.
- Ability to be hands-on when required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with the team.
- Ability to act as the conscience of the business, handle difficult conversations, and speak up.
- Good commercial awareness with a proven record of partnering with and influencing leadership.
- Ability to measure and track HR effectiveness using key metrics.
- Confident in UK employment law.
- Experience of Hay job evaluation or similar methodology is preferable.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and creating an engaging employee experience.
