Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory procedures across all disciplines and functions
- Ensure completion of assigned workload
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
- Prepare written and electronic reports to document procedures and test results
- Participate in teaching, educational, safety, and quality improvement programs
- Observe and understand hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- Adhere to hospital mission and values while maintaining patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized MLT - Cytogenetics / Molecular Genetics program
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTO)
- Specialization in Cytogenetics / Molecular Genetics
- Knowledge of laboratory theory, practice, instruments, and special techniques
- Ability to coach technical staff

Salary/Compensations
- 36.84 - 50.24 per hour
