About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Raleigh team to design structural systems across diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, industrial, and parking.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers of Record on project design, calculations, and assessment reports
• Perform analysis of existing structures
• Develop construction drawings and specifications ensuring compliance with codes and regulations
• Assist in project coordination and internal/external team meetings
• Review project submittals and shop drawings
• Conduct site visits to observe construction practices
• Organize field data for analysis and problem solving
• Interact with senior engineers and design technicians
• Attend meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
• Engage with potential clients to expand business relationships
• Perform calculations per design specifications and industry standards
• Utilize structural design software
• Share information across disciplines to ensure deliverables meet quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0-2 years of experience or a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD
• EIT certification preferred

• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an entrepreneurial culture
