About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Raleigh team to design structural systems across diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, industrial, and parking.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers of Record on project design, calculations, and assessment reports
- Perform analysis of existing structures
- Develop construction drawings and specifications ensuring compliance with codes and regulations
- Assist in project coordination and internal/external team meetings
- Review project submittals and shop drawings
- Conduct site visits to observe construction practices
- Organize field data for analysis and problem solving
- Interact with senior engineers and design technicians
- Attend meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
- Engage with potential clients to expand business relationships
- Perform calculations per design specifications and industry standards
- Utilize structural design software
- Share information across disciplines to ensure deliverables meet quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0-2 years of experience or a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficient knowledge and experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD
- EIT certification preferred

- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an entrepreneurial culture
