About the Role

Intersection is seeking an upbeat, energetic, and self-motivated Sales Coordinator to join the Client Success Team in our New York office. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and varied role perfect for someone with sales support experience in the media/advertising world. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, a drive to learn, and the ability to perform sales support responsibilities and thrive within a team environment. This individual will provide full support to their Sales Account Executive(s), improve sales cycles by aiding in the activation of new processes to ensure "The Intersection Way" is maintained, fostering a collaborative and consultative effort with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with Manager, Account Executives, and Account Managers.
  • Onboard and train with a Client Success Sales Ambassador.
  • Learn Intersection's media and advertising offerings.
  • Act as a mentee to other Sales Coordinators to learn sales support processes and systems.
  • Gain exposure to all departments within Intersection and understand their role in the sales cycle.
  • Generate and process contracts, proposals, and presentations.
  • Communicate daily with clients and agencies.
  • Manage inventory requests, inventory holds, market avails, and media plans/proposals.
  • Generate targeting maps and visuals for RFP responses.
  • Handle invoicing requests and billing inquiries.
  • Own the pre-sale lifecycle of a contract, from market research to execution and production tracking.
  • Research and document competitive requests.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of the business model and media products.
  • Serve as a "go-to" person for tasks such as printing materials, setting up meetings, and building sales decks.
  • Communicate via email and phone with internal resources and clients to ensure a smooth customer service experience.
  • Be a member of a great team at Intersection.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing customer success, account management, or strategic consulting organization.
  • Ability to multi-task a number of different items.
  • Enjoy collaborating with people while knowing when to take ownership of a task.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability for both personal and team work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and fix errors.
  • Work fast but thoughtfully, and make suggestions for efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to perform busy work utilizing these tools for RFPs.
