About the Role
The Program Manager, Product Development, is responsible for developing and maintaining a new planning and program management system to support the evolution of the guest experience onboard and in destinations. This role ensures projects are completed on time and within budget by creating decision-making tools, managing resource allocations, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain tools for managing large, complex processes
- Identify and recommend digital program management platforms
- Incorporate scope, timelines, budgets, responsibility assignment, success metrics, and milestone tracking
- Develop a financial model encompassing budget baselines, funding milestones, and KPIs
- Track program milestones and ensure on-time delivery
- Manage program budgets
- Coordinate interdependencies across departments and workstreams
- Develop and update user-friendly dashboards for stakeholder reference
- Provide status reports to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Build and maintain shared workspaces and team sites
- Standardize systems for filing project documentation
- Lead onboarding and manage business relationships with key partners
- Participate in cross-functional working sessions to capture decisions and priorities
- Document and communicate product intent, standards, and operational requirements to shipboard leadership
- Maintain key metric databases to support decision making
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in product, business management, design, or a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of industry-related experience in program management
- Ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders in a complex environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership
- Ability to synthesize results into concise written findings
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced culture
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proven track record of success in a complex, forward-thinking organization
- Experience working with diverse and remote teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills
- Highly analytical with success in problem identification and solution implementation
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
