About the Role
Reynolds Orthodontics is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Orthodontic Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. This pivotal role supports the doctor team, assisting with patient care and striving to be a friendly and professional addition to the team.
Responsibilities
- Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the highest level of patient customer service.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices.
- Work chairside with patient care, including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
- Take X-Rays and pictures, and fabricate retainers.
- Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
- Keep patient rooms stocked and organized, and clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
- Be receptive to coaching and training from doctors to better develop skillset.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be professional and able to multitask.
- Must be interested in making a difference in patient's lives.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Where required by state law and/or city ordinance; this employer will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
