About the Role
This role serves as the dedicated owner of physical hardware test design and execution for the V6 robot and its subsystems. Working within the SI&T team, you will manage component, subassembly, and system-level validation, oversee cycle testers, and generate reliability data to de-risk the V6 platform ahead of deployment.
Responsibilities
- Own test design and execution for new hardware products and mechanical revisions across feasibility, EVT, DVT, and PVT stages.
- Lead physical pick/pack testing to evaluate and optimize SKU pickability, grip reliability, and placement accuracy.
- Manage robot system and subsystem cycle testers, including hardware bringup, maintenance, test execution, and failure debugging.
- Build and maintain hardware test infrastructure such as minigrids, test robots, test stations, and dyno expansions.
- Track test cycles and reliability metrics, conduct teardowns and failure analysis, and drive root cause resolution with Design and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in hardware or reliability test, validation, or mechatronics.
- Hands-on debug experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and DAQ.
