About the Role

The Arding Rooms is an award-winning private members' club and events venue seeking a passionate and polished Waiter/Waitress to join the front of house team. This role involves delivering exceptional experiences for members and guests in a varied capacity, from restaurant service to event support, contributing to the venue's warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
• Take food and drink orders and serve confidently across restaurant, bar, and event settings.
• Support the setup, delivery, and breakdown of private events and functions.
• Maintain high standards of presentation throughout the venue, including the roof terrace.
• Ensure all member and guest areas are beautifully presented and ready for service.
• Build positive relationships with members to ensure they feel welcomed and at ease.

Requirements

• Hospitality experience is essential.
• A positive, outgoing, and upbeat demeanor.
• Pride in personal presentation and warm, kind communication.
• Ability to connect with members and learn their preferences.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Adaptability to work across the main restaurant, roof terrace, and event space.
• Flexibility to work a range of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Enjoy being part of a supportive team.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
