About the Role
Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a bilingual professional to join our fast-paced lending team. This role focuses on providing exceptional member support, processing consumer loan requests, and managing loan documentation in both English and Spanish to help our members achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Process consumer loan requests and applications in person or via phone
- Run credit reports and assign applications to loan officers
- Address member inquiries regarding loans, payoffs, approvals, and account services
- Assist walk-in members with loan information and closing procedures
- Process advances on existing lines of credit and VISA cards
- Calculate vehicle values and obtain payoff amounts for refinances
- Prepare release of title or lien documentation
- Perform loan retention duties
- Process payoff checks and balance totals
- Provide backup reception support
- Perform general office tasks including scanning, faxing, emailing, and filing
Requirements
- Minimum of six months of related lending experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Good credit standing
- Successful background check and drug screening
