About the Role
Lead organisational design and change across Accounting and Ledger, driving transformation capability and a forward-looking strategy. Partner with Finance leadership to simplify ledger technology, data, and operating models to enhance efficiency, control, and the colleague experience.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the Accounting and Ledger transformation roadmap with clear outcomes and milestones.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Technology, and third parties.
- Support organisational design, including target structures and resource requirements.
- Coordinate delivery across workstreams while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
- Champion capability building, change adoption, and workforce planning.
- Identify and deliver simplification opportunities using Agile practices.
- Drive disciplined execution through strong governance and prioritisation.
- Monitor deliverables using Agile methodologies to drive the transformation operating model.
- Enhance the operating model through automation and process improvements.
- Promote digital acceleration, including the adoption of AI and technology solutions.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Finance function structure, governance, and simplification in a regulated environment.
- Proven experience delivering large, cross-functional programmes with measurable outcomes.
- Experience implementing global accounting, ledger, or ERP programmes within financial services.
- Experience connecting business needs to process redesign and technology enablement.
- Demonstrated ability to build capability through skills development and leadership development.
- Strong team leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
- Ability to operate through ambiguity and drive accountability.
- Strong focus on defining and tracking measurable efficiency and effectiveness KPIs.
