About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional community lead to uncover how domain experts use OpenAI products in their work and translate those insights into product feedback and compelling stories. This role combines community-building, qualitative research, and editorial judgment to identify high-signal users, document their workflows, and foster a connected community of advanced users.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a regional pipeline of advanced users across diverse professions and cultures.
  • Interview users and review workflows to understand outcomes and limitations.
  • Translate user examples into internal profiles and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Partner with community and storytelling teams to develop and share user stories.
  • Create opportunities for advanced users to learn from one another.
  • Identify recurring product-education needs and adoption patterns.
  • Share regional signals to strengthen the global community program.

Requirements

  • Exceptional curiosity about people, work, and emerging technology practices.
  • Strong sourcing instincts to identify high-signal individuals.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across various professions and seniority levels.
  • Strong interviewing, research, writing, and synthesis skills.
  • Editorial taste and judgment regarding content credibility and interest.
  • Fluency with AI products and technical confidence to document sophisticated workflows.
  • High agency and ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong organization and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent judgment regarding privacy, consent, and confidentiality.
  • Deep familiarity with the culture, professional networks, and language of the region.
  • Professional fluency in English and the primary language of the market.
