About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Treasury Management Consultant to join our Global Payments and Liquidity team within Enterprise Functions. This role involves managing and growing a Middle Market Treasury Management portfolio, serving as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a Middle Market Treasury Management portfolio across the New York city territory.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
- Partner closely with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers to develop joint calling strategies.
- Proactively call on prospective and existing clients to understand business needs and recommend treasury, payments, and liquidity solutions.
- Lead treasury management sales efforts throughout the full client lifecycle.
- Collaborate with implementation and service partners to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Analyze client operating models, cash flow needs, and payment processes to recommend solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with partners across Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Operations, Product, and Implementation teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Deep knowledge of treasury management, payments, and liquidity solutions.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable client strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement complex treasury management, payments, and liquidity solutions for middle-market organizations with annual revenues of $100 million to $500 million.
- Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders through effective communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience collaborating across business lines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Demonstrated adaptability and innovation mindset.
- Ability to navigate change, leverage emerging technologies, and identify new opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail, project leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives to completion.
