About the Role
Provide technical leadership for end-to-end RAN architecture, bridging business requirements and engineering execution to ensure Open RAN products meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architectures and establish engineering best practices, prioritizing scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Provide architecture governance and technical guidance to engineering teams throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Drive network performance improvement through advanced RF tuning, parameter configuration audits, and AI-driven analytics.
- Lead release planning, bug tracking, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Manage the First Office Application (FOA) process for new software releases across 4G/5G/NTN/IoT products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize "golden parameters" and baseline configurations for consistent network performance.
- Ensure technical solutions align with product goals and business requirements, facilitating seamless integration from the core network to the edge.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in mobile network engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- Deep knowledge of 3GPP and O-RAN standards.
- Expertise in 4G/5G/NTN/IoT technologies.
- Proficiency in RF optimization, UE/Trace log analysis, and KPI/Counter management.
- Strong understanding of Cloud-native/Kubernetes terminology.
- Experience in Software Release Management (JIRA, bug tracking, RCA), asset planning, and cost analysis.
- Collaborative team player capable of thriving in multi-disciplinary frameworks.
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex challenges and drive results in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Hands-on experience with SON (Self-Organizing Network) parameter tuning for mobility and traffic balancing.
- Experience in SSVT (System Software Validation Testing) and Cluster Optimization.
- Familiarity with mass event handling and advanced traffic balancing strategies.
- Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable architectural decisions.
