About the Role
The Behavioral Health Outpatient Programs at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center offer comprehensive mental health programming for patients and families with a variety of behavioral health concerns. Our growing spectrum of services include community-based programs within schools, primary care, home-based crisis intervention as well as rapid evaluation for high risk patients. Psychologists have the opportunity to seek Columbia faculty appointments and supervise psychology interns, fellows and externs. We are seeking talented faculty to deliver mental health interventions in the outpatient setting via telehealth and in person.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mental health interventions in the outpatient setting via telehealth and in person.
- Participate in grand rounds, research innovations, training and mentorship.
- Supervise psychology interns, fellows and externs.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Psychology.
- Upon hire, have applied for New York State Limited Permit in Psychology or New York State License in Psychology.
- Ability to obtain New York State License in Psychology within 18 months of hire.
- Live within a commutable distance to NYP.
