About the Role
Seeking a loving, dependable, patient, and emotionally attuned nanny for two 8-year-old boys in Carroll Gardens, NY. The ideal candidate will partner with parents to manage daily routines, including meal prep, school pick-up, after-school activities, and evening routines, while modeling effective coping strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support twin boys aged 8
- Provide daily child-related meal prep
- Handle school pick-up
- Provide engaging after-school care, including activities, dinner, and evening routine
- Manage children's active schedules and transitions
- Cook meals
- Manage daily commutes and outdoor play
- Complete child-related tasks
- Perform general tidying of all areas
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the US
- 3-5 years of experience, with 5+ years preferred, supporting busy homes (ideally with multiple school-aged children)
- Experience working with ADHD and school-aged children
- Exceptional childcare references attesting to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity, and high emotional intelligence
- Physically able and interested in managing 2 children on daily commutes and outdoor play
- Education or equivalent knowledge of child growth and development stages
- Readiness to complete child-related tasks
