About the Role

Full-time Nanny required for a lower Manhattan family with four young children (ages 6 and under). The role involves providing loving care, tidying, cleaning, and children-related laundry. This is a fast-paced and demanding position requiring excellent attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Providing loving care to the children, including meals
• Tidying, cleaning, and children-related laundry
• Facilitating planned schedules, school drop-offs, and pick-ups
• Participating in classes
• Partnering alongside other caregivers, house staff members, and parents
• Helping with light housekeeping and all tasks related to childcare (meal prep, cooking, organizing, laundry, etc.)

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 10 years experience as a full-time nanny working in private homes
• A well-suited demeanor for working with children pre-school and school aged children
• Flexibility for evening coverage, interest to travel with family domestically and internationally, and ability to stay overnights/late as needed
• Experience with educational milestones (teaching background would be ideal)
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• Comfortable working in a partnership/alongside with other caregivers and Mother in the home
• Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times
• Fluency in both oral and written English
