About the Role

The Food Server is responsible for creating the overall guest experience, taking food/beverage orders, carrying out wine/beverage service, performing table maintenance, completing side work, maintaining health code standards, and providing excellent customer service for our guests as defined by outlet standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly quality service to all guests.
• Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of all menu items.
• Service all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Bus tables and complete all side work.
• Assist restaurant host/hostess when required.
• Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
• Present a neat and clean appearance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statutes, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests.
• Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to decipher and maintain various reports.
• Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
• Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Skills
