About the Role
As a Customer Support Representative reporting to the Asset Protection team, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, provide exceptional service, and delight customers. You will be the friendly face greeting customers, offering assistance, and contributing to a positive and safe shopping environment, collaborating with store colleagues to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for all customers and colleagues.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide guidance, including supporting a seamless customer flow at store entrances and exits.
- Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards (e.g., spills, wet floors) to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for everyone.
- Respond calmly and effectively to any urgent situations, escalating as needed to ensure customer and colleague well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with store teams and customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a natural talent for making connections and building rapport.
- A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour that puts customers at ease.
- Proven ability to maintain composure and provide assistance during challenging or urgent situations.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
