About the Role
The Trade Marketing Analyst will support cross-functional teams within the wholesale division (Brand, Marketing, Sales, and Finance) by utilizing available resources to make strategic decisions that drive company sales and profit.
Responsibilities
- Create, analyze, and distribute sales reports, including promotion analysis, accrual liability trackers, and customer profit reporting.
- Manage assigned accounts, reviewing profit reports, tracking spend, and analyzing promotions during monthly sales meetings.
- Build quarterly customer strategy presentations in collaboration with Sales and Brand teams.
- Work with Accounts Receivable in Finance to accurately track and communicate customer spend for accrual purposes.
- Analyze weekly POS trends for assigned customers to measure promotional performance, such as ROI and unit lift %.
- Make recommendations to Sales on optimizing future promotions based on performance results and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Business or Marketing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
- 1-3 years in a Sales Analyst, Trade Marketing, or Customer Strategy role (or similar).
- Possess an analytical and strategic mindset.
- Demonstrate proactive self-starter qualities.
- Exhibit attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate agility in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization and thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with the CPG and/or supplement industry is a plus.
- Must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.
