About the Role

As a Head Waiter at Soho House, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will oversee service operations, guide the front-of-house team, and maintain the high standards of the club.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and ensure immediate engagement upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders while accommodating dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain proactive table service including water and wine top-ups.
• Ensure a pristine environment through proper table setup and cleanliness.
• Handle member requests with flexibility to create personalized experiences.
• Process payments via card, the Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism when serving VIPs and PWKs.
• Lead and supervise daily service on the restaurant floor.
• Support and motivate waitstaff through training, coaching, and feedback.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a high-end dining environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior waiter position.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.
