About the Role

As the Team Lead, you will manage a team of Fleet Specialists and ensure high-quality service for users and cities. You will oversee vehicle maintenance, repair, transport, and repositioning, as well as battery swapping. Your role involves both managerial duties and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Fleet Specialists, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles.
• Manage battery swapping operations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and training of Fleet Specialists.
• Oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure availability and optimal usage.
• Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance.
• Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policies.
• Support repairs and maintenance in the warehouse as needed.
• Coordinate daily with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to agreed procedures.
• Support operational aspects of vans, including installation and removal of tracking devices.

Requirements

• Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences.
• Must be able to drive a company e-van.
• 2+ years of previous work experience.
• Experience managing a team of people.
• General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite).
