About the Role
As the Team Lead, you will manage a team of Fleet Specialists and ensure high-quality service for users and cities. You will oversee vehicle maintenance, repair, transport, and repositioning, as well as battery swapping. Your role involves both managerial duties and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Fleet Specialists, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles.
- Manage battery swapping operations.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and training of Fleet Specialists.
- Oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure availability and optimal usage.
- Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Monitor mandatory training compliance.
- Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policies.
- Support repairs and maintenance in the warehouse as needed.
- Coordinate daily with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to agreed procedures.
- Support operational aspects of vans, including installation and removal of tracking devices.
Requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences.
- Must be able to drive a company e-van.
- 2+ years of previous work experience.
- Experience managing a team of people.
- General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite).
